Welcome to my collection of apps. I've tested all of these programs on various flavors of Windows computers, using the Window-Eyes screen reader. I cannot guarentee that these will work on your particular system, therefore I can't be held responsible if any of these programs cause damage to your pc.

- AoA Audio ExtractorAllows you to convert several video types to audio. You can demo the platinum version or run the free addition.

- Combined Community Codec PackA free pack of codecs for various audio and video formats.
- DVRMSToolboxA simple program that converts Windows Media Center recorded videos into several different video formats. Can also cut out commercials.
- Free StudioA collection of free audio and video apps.
- Foobar 2000A free audio player that seems to be pretty screen reader friendly out of the box.
- MediaInfoGives basic properties of various media files you load in.
- Mptrim and WavtrimTwo programs that allow you to remove portions of mp3 and wav files fairly easily.
- Simple Mp3 Maker A really nice program that rips cd's to a few different formats.
- StremWriterAllows you to record internet streamed radio.
- WavPadA good free audio editor.
- Winamp Nedia Player Play various media files with good keyboard access!
- XvidAnother Direct Show filter to allow playing of videos and audio in the xvid format.
- Youtube Downloader HDDownload your favorite Youtube videos to your computer.

- Avast FreeA free antivirus.
- AVG FreeIf you're looking for a free antivirus, give the free version of AVG a go.
- Belarc AdvisorA free system configuration utility that displays your system's hardware and software configuration in your browser.
- CCleanerHelps clean out crud Windows will pile up over the years.
- HD TuneA good program to get the stats on your hard drives.
- HWInfo32Allows you to check hardware temps, component config, etc.
- Malwarebytes AntimalwareA free tool to help remove most viruses and malwares antiviruses just can't handle.
- Microsoft Internet Explorer The best web browser and highly screen-reader friendly!
- Microsoft Security EssentialsA good antivirus produced by the people that make Windows.
- Mozilla Firefox A new, compact and tabbed browser.
- PowerOffA nifty gui and command line util that allows you to shutdown, hibernate, restart, and put your computer to sleep immediately or on a schedule.
- WebvisumA plugin for FireFox that can read those pesky image captchas. Go to invitations and request and invite before you can create an account and download the plugin.

- Xenu's Link Sleuth Helps find broken links on web pages. I'm using it right now to catch busted or incorrectly entered links!

- 7-Zip A speedy little archiver that supports Winzip, as well as its own 7z format that shrinks files even smaller!
- Adobe Acrobat Reader Let's you read .pdf (portable document files) with a screen reader!
- Adobe Flash ReaderGet Flash Player for your system.
- AllWays Synch If you've got two or more networked computers and are tired of bringing My Documents or other files up-to-date on both machines, this nifty app can do it for you!
- Boinc This software allows you to crunch numbers from various scientific projects around the world!
- Dvd43If you want to backup your movies to an image file but keep getting errors because it's been encrypted, Dvd43 might help decrypt it for you.
- GBurner Virtual DriveAllows you to take disk images and run them as if they were dvd's in your dvd drive.
- Img BurnAllows you to make images of cd's, dvd's, and bluray's, as well as burn those images.
- SpyBot Search & Destroy A handy little spyware detection and removal utility.
- XxcopyA dos prompt file copy utility.
Sound Schemes
You've come to the right place for some interesting sound schemes! All you need do is extract the files to the folder indicated by the self-extracdting archive, then go into your Windows control panel, find the sounds applet, and associate the indicated sound file with the windows event.
